Short Bio

Academic Experience:

I am currently an Associate Professor of Finance at UNSW Business School in Sydney and a Research Fellow at the Canadian Derivatives Institute. My teaching and research focus on investment and risk management, with work published in top academic finance journals and presented at leading business schools and international conferences. Prior to joining UNSW, I held the position of Associate Professor at HEC Montréal.

Industry Experience:

In addition to my academic role, I bring over six years of industry experience as a Director and Subject Matter Expert at KPMG, where I advised some of the world’s leading pension funds, banks, insurance companies, and institutional investors. I led multidisciplinary teams to deliver actionable insights and quantitative solutions to senior investment and risk management teams. My work included the development and validation of models for strategic and tactical asset allocation, portfolio construction, asset valuation, and trading signal generation across asset classes. I also supported clients in the measurement and management of market, credit, interest rate, and liquidity risks, as well as in responding to evolving regulatory requirements.
